Sophie Burzynski crowned Miss Alabama USA 2023 for Miss USA 2023

The finale of Miss Alabama USA 2023 was held on 28th January 2023 at the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center, Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama where Sophie Burzynski was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Alabama at Miss USA 2023.

 

 

Sophie Burzynski is based in Auburn, Alabama but originally is from Kentucky. Not new to the pageant world, Sophie finished in the Top 15 at Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2017 and in the Top 16 at Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2020. In 2021, she also completed at Miss Kentucky USA 2021 but remained unplaced. She is 21 years of age. The newly crowned Miss Alabama USA 2023 Sophie Burzynski’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Noelia Voigt

2nd Runner-up – Diane Westhoven

3rd Runner-up – Margaret Anne McNeill

4th Runner-up – Randee Hinson-McCrary

Top 10 also included Carli Kim Guin (Capstone), MacKenzie Marable (Heart of the South), Ashleigh Rye (Hoover), Alyssa Weyant (Lake Jordan) and Kaylan Colvin (Lee County) while Top 16 also included Ava Register (Dothan), Greer Gilbraith (East Alabama), Jasmyn Cornell (Madison), Melody Mills (Madison County), Samantha Huver (Northport) and Valerie-Taiylor Williams (West Alabama).

 

 

Also at the finale, Kensey Collins was crowned Miss Alabama Teen USA 2023 as she became the official representative of Alabama at Miss Teen USA 2023. Ava LeBlanc, Jaycee Parker, Georgia Busby, Halle Sullivan were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.

Sophie succeeds and was crowned by Miss Alabama USA 2022 Katelyn Vinson who represented Alabama at Miss USA 2022 but unfortunately remained unplaced. Congratulations to the winners.
