Miss USA 2018 will hold its finale on 21st May 2018 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana where Miss USA 2017 Kara McCullough will crown her successor from the 51 contestants who will fight for the national title.

But before that, let’s take a look at the top 10 contenders of the national crown who can, in our opinion, represent the USA at Miss Universe 2018. In a series of features, we will introduce these wonderful women who definitely have what it takes to win Miss USA 2018.

Brooke Johnson was crowned Miss Alaska USA 2018 on 2nd December 2017 at Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage, Alaska.

A passionate woman, Brooke Johnson has achieved so much at such a young age. The gorgeous beauty is 26 years of age and has Bachelors in Digital Cinema Arts which she completed from Lindenwood University.

Brooke is the first woman from her state to work as a photojournalist at Coastal Television. Not only this, she is also an active member of a non-profit organization YEA (Young-Youth Empowered Achievers). As a peer leader, Brooke’s goal is to educate youth by implementing lessons in the public school system.

Ever since her crowning, Brooke has been busy with her preliminary activities to Miss USA 2018. She has even featured with Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber to promote the tagline of the pageant ‘Confidently Beautiful’.

With two consecutive wins by women of colour at Miss USA 2018, Brooke has been giving her extra efforts into training for the national pageant. Do you think Brooke Johnson will take over for women of colour and be the next Miss USA ?
