Adding another major accomplishment to her name, Miss America 2018 Cara Mund was recently invited to attend President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union Address as a guest of U.S. Senator John Hoeven.

Cara, the 23-year-old Bismark native, is the first crowned queen from North Dakota. In December 2016, she interned for Republican Senator John Hoeven in Washington D.C.

She has expressed interest in representing North Dakota in the state and U.S. Senate as well as being the first woman to be elected as the governor of North Dakota.

Cara took to her official Instagram account to express gratitude for being invited to such a prestigious event by the U.S. Senator. Let us take a look at what she had to say about her experience –

This is not the first time that the beauty queen has achieved such a big feat; Cara is the founder of the annual fund-raising fashion show for Make-A-Wish-Foundation which she started at the age of 14. Well, all we would like to say is - You go, Girl!
