Miss Maurice Organization announced Cheasta Ramdhooneea as the new representative of Mauritius at Miss Asia Pacific International 2020 just hours ago. She has succeeded Miss Asia Pacific International Mauritius 2019 Queency Naigum and is very excited to be representing Mauritius at the international stage

Hailing from the city of Morcellement St-André, Cheasta is 23-years-old and is pursuing her studies in BSc (Hons) Accounting with Finance. She inspires to be a teacher and has recently joined the Lion Club as a volunteer. She wants to use the platform to raise awareness about sexual education and contraceptive methods.

Cheasta is not new to the world of beauty pageant as she was one of the finalists at Miss Universe Mauritius 2019 and was highly appreciated for her performance at the competition. She wants to use the opportunity given to her to its fullest and educate the people especially the youth about sex education and the contraceptive methods along with the challenges they might face as teenage parents. The diva wants to raise awareness and make the youth of Mauritius responsible and aware that their actions have consequences. She would also like to support teenage mothers by encouraging them to complete their education since she believes that an educated mother is a great role model for any child.

The diva is positive, humble, and a kind person and is very easy to befriend and loves to travel in order to meet new people which has helped her to experience new things in life. She is strong, confident, and very assured that she will be able to perform her best at the competition and make the people of the country proud. Her mother and sister are her strength and she work closely with Young Star Mauritius, an NGO that provides help to needy people and child.

Miss Maurice Organization also announced Vandana Jeetah as Miss Universe Mauritius 2020, Thriya Hemraz as Miss Supranational Mauritius 2020, and Samanta Luchoo as Miss Landscapes Mauritius 2020.
