Miss Bahamas 2018 is all set to organize its grand finale on 27th May 2018 at Imperial Ballroom – Atlantis in Paradise Island. 10 contestants will be competing for the national crown where Geena Thompson will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The winner of Miss World Bahamas 2018 will represent the Bahamas at Miss World 2018 where Manushi Chhillar will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Shelly Elisee, Miss World University of the Bahamas 2018 is the official delegate of Miss Bahamas 2018. With a bittersweet childhood, Shelly got help from pageantry and dancing to get over low self esteem issues. Just at the age of 21, Shelly is the owner of two companies as a young entrepreneur - Customs Imprints & Designs, and Sea Shelly Scents.

The proudest moment of her life was to be the first child to graduate high school from her family. Having suffered through her childhood, Shelly wishes to help youngsters now who suffer like her  by expressing themselves through arts instead of resorting to violence.

Her advocacy for Beauty with a Purpose is Youth Empowerment Through Artistic Expression which focuses exactly on the same by telling their story and helping all the youngsters who need it. Her love for poetry, dancing and inspiring others stems from this.
