Chayenne van Aarle, through her official social media, announced that she will representing Belgium at the 71st Miss Universe competition. She was crowned Miss Belgium 2022 on 26th March 2022 at the Proximus Theatre, Adinkerke.

Chayenne is 23 years of age and a bilingual flight attendant from Antwerp. Miss Belgium organization also announced her representation as they wrote, “Chayenne grew up in a castle full of neglected animals, from which her love for animals was born. As a child, she walked among zebras, kangaroos, camels and alpacas. As the daughter of hard-working parents, she quickly became independent and can now put that strength to good use in her Miss Universe adventure."

“During her participation in Miss Belgium we discovered that she can sing very beautifully, after Chayenne became Miss Belgium she soon got the chance to write her own song to music of the Flemish DJ Robert Abigail. She then put her heart and soul into the lyrics of the song #Selfmade, creating her campaign against body shaming”, the organization added.

Miss Universe 2022 is scheduled to be held on 14th January 2022 at the New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA where Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
