Miss Bikini Philippines 2020, held in a three-episode format, was held hours ago where Chelsea Fernandez was crowned the new queen. The virtual edition continued the 13-year tradition of Beauty, Brains, Bikini.
Chelsea gave an incredible performance throughout the competition. Hailing from Tacloban city, Chelsea is 21 years of age and stands 170 cm tall. She holds the degree of the Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication Major in Broadcasting graduate of Asian Development College. She was a mega-favourite for the national crown.
Miss Bikini Philippines 2020 Chelsea Fernandez’s court includes –
1st Runner-Up: Chella Grace Falconer
2nd Runner-Up: Allyssa Nicholls
The runners-up also include Elda Louise Aznar and Joycee Lavida.
Chelsea is not new to pageantry as she was the winner of Reyna ng Aliwan 2018 and later participated at Miss Earth Philippines 2019 and was adjudged as Miss Earth Philippines Water 2019 at the end of the event finale.
Relaunched in 2019 by ProMedia, Miss Bikini Philippines embodies wholistic beauty that includes intelligence, health, and fitness.
The third episode saw hosts Angelia Ong and Sean Kyle Ortega give a glimpse into the screening process and the series of training sessions which helped the candidates epitomize total beauty. Special Awards winners and the Top 10 finalists were announced before the winners were announced.
