All about Miss Charm 2023 Luma Russo

Luma Russo Moura made history yesterday at the coronation night of Miss Charm 2023 as she was crowned the first ever winner of the international pageant. A pilot, model, makeup artist and beauty queen, Luma was a sight to behold at the finale night in a blue embellished evening gown.

Luma Russo was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil and raised in Divinópolis, Minas Gerais. Aside from her childhood in Brazil, Luma also lived in other countries including Bolivia, England, Qatar and the United States.

 

Miss Charm 2023

 

From 2002 to 2005, Luma went to Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. In 2012, she graduated from Instituto Nossa Senhora do Sagrado Coração in Divinópolis. Luma went to Flying Time Aviation at the Shoreham Airport in West Sussex, England to obtain her airline transport pilot license. She also took a professional pilot course at Skymates, Inc. in Grand Prairie, Texas, USA.

Not new to the pageantry, Luma, as Miss Divinopolis CNB 2019, attended the DivinaExpô 2019, which was held in São Judas Tadeu, Divinópolis in 2019. The same year, she represented Divinopolis at Miss Minas Gerais CNB 2020 and competed against 44 other candidates in Patos de Minas, Minas Gerais where she was second runner-up to Rayane Araújo.

 

Miss Charm 2023

 

Being crowned Miss Supranational Minas Gerais 2020 at the same state pageant, in 2020, Russo represented Minas Gerais at Miss Supranational Brazil 2020 where she was adjudged as the second runner-up to Deise Benicio.

At 27 years of age, she represented Brazil at Miss Charm 2023 impressing everyone with her fluency and absolutely confident personality on stage. At several times during the Q/A round as well, the judges were seen mouthing ‘she’s so good’, making her an absolute front-runner for Miss Charm 2023 crown.
