Meet Tiffany Teixeira, Miss Connecticut USA 2016 competing for Miss USA 2016. Tiffany was crowned at the regional finals held on November 15’ 2016 at Hartford Marriott Farmington in Hartford. Tiffany was crowned by the outgoing queen Ashley Golebiewski.
At the same event, Samantha Sojka was titled as first runner-up, Dalila May was adjudged second runner-up, Brittany Capozziello was adjudged third runner-up and Olga Litvinenko finished as fourth runner-up. Katy Brown was crowned as Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2016 and will represent Connecticut as Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year. A series of Special Awards were also awarded to the contestants under the following categories –
Miss Congeniality – Katrina Kovalski
Miss Photogenic – Amaryllis Rodrigue

24 years old Tiffany hails from Bridgeport and is a graduate of Central Magnet High School and Quinnipiac University. Currently, she is working as an ICU nurse at Yale-New Haven hospital. The beauty queen loves to travel and has a keen interest in cars. She really cares about her body and loves working out.
Tiffany is not new to the pageants and has previously represented Connecticut at Miss Teen USA 2009 pageant. She was the second runner-up at the Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2007 and first runner-up at the Miss Teen Connecticut USA 2008.
Connecticut has performed decently at the Miss USA pageant with one title - Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady; two first runners-up - Diane Zabicki at Miss USA 1962 and Pat Denne at Miss USA 1966; one fourth runner-up - Alita Dawson Miss Connecticut USA 2002. In addition to the crown and runners-up title, the state has had six placements at the pageant.
