Chelsea Demby was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2020 on 30th November 2019 at Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa in Stamford. She is representing Connecticut for the title of Miss USA 2020. Chelsea Demby succeeds Acacia Courtney Miss Connecticut USA 2019 for the title.
Chelsea is 24 years old graduate in Fashion Communication and Promotion and minor in Event Management from Lasell College. She currently works as and Event Program Coordinator for The Hometown Foundation. It is a non profit charitable foundation which focuses on five pillars of charity including animal welfare, emergency response, major illness, military and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Miss Connecticut USA 2020 also works as a model and is very passionate about it. She believes that the fashion and pageant industry help her in expressing herself in a creative way and she is also able to tell her story through her poses, body, face and via fashion.
Chelsea has a multi-racial heritage in Sierra Leone, Lebanon, Portugal, England and Ireland. She was born on the island of Nantucket and she feels honored to work for a non-profit organization that makes a difference in the lives of so many people and just only in the community of Connecticut.
Her overall passion is to advocate for Self-Acceptance while redefining the definition, as acceptance for all. She personally believes that women need to embrace their curves and femininity without caring what others opinions are about them and start being less fearful about it in public. She genuinely enjoys making people feel good about themselves.
