Miss United Continents 2018 (Miss Continentes Unidos 2018) held its National Costume competition on 16th September 2018 at Hotel Punta del Mar where Miss United Continents China 2018 Wenjing Zhang was awarded the Best in National Costume award.
Amongst the thirty three delegates who paraded the stage in their traditional costumes, Wenjing stood out with her outfit looking gorgeous as ever. The traditional outfit of the winner represented Han tribe in the late Qing Dynasty. As explained, “The phoenix crown is the most representative in China. The top fork is the inlay of Yanjing's watermark in China. The images you use on the skirt are taken from the square patterns that were used in the imperial palace, representing that the sky is round and the square earth, where it symbolizes that everything has order and rule.”
The contestants walked in their national costumes explaining their heritage and culture and history that relates to their specific countries. Amongst a few, Miss United Continents Chile 2018 Carlha Sabina Ahumada Rodríguez wore a costume named Mapuche Warrior Goddes, Miss United Continents Colombia 2018 wore a gorgeous blue traditional outfit which represents the natural, cultural and craftsmanship of the country.
Miss United Continents Brazil 2018 wore ‘Encounters of Water’ designed by Matheus Alencar while Miss United Continents Bolivia 2018 wore ‘The Inca Goddess’ designed by Monica Siles. While every delegate did a commendable job, with a few contestants standing out from the rest, China took home the first major award at the international competition.

Prior to the election of the Best National Costume Award, the beauty ambassadors paraded Comecsa brand clothes and GG. The shoes they wore were of the brand Vizzano, Bellario, Moleca and Olimpikus.
