The Miss Czech Republic organization is all set to host the 2022 edition of the national pageant soon where stunning divas from all over the country will compete for the coveted title and an opportunity to represent Czech Republic at the upcoming international pageants.
After the first press conference and the first elimination last week, the Top 18 delegates took part in the second fast track pre-pageant challenge, the Top Model challenge on 13th February 2022, where they had the opportunity to showcase their ramp walk skills. Sitting among the jury this year was Veronika Smidova, who won the Top Model challenge at the national pageant last year.
At the end of the challenge, Krystyna Pyszkova´ was announced as the winner whereas, Terezie Jastrzembská and Marke´ta Mo¨rwick were chosen as the first and second runners-up respectively. The divas also took to their social media to share the news as well as express their gratitude for the support.
Krystyna expressed, “I’m so grateful that I won the Top Model Challenge today! Thank you Miss Czech Republic for all your support and the Top Model award. I’m happy that I can share with you my model journey and connect it with the pageant world. Last but not least I would like to thank you all for supportive messages and comments, I read and thank for every one of them. You’re the best.”
At the end of this week’s camp, the second elimination also took place, where Veronica Biagini and Aneta Papoušková had to end their journey, making it now a batch of Top 16 divas, still in the race to compete for the national title. At each training camp from this year's Miss Czech Republic 2022, two semi-finalists will leave the competition up until the Top 10 finalists.
This year’s winner will succeed Miss Czech Republic 2021 Karolína Kopíncová, who will be representing the country at the Miss World 2021 pageant soon. Apart from the title crown, the organization will also be crowning delegates for minor pageants such as Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Grand International and Miss Intercontinental.
The reigning queens, Miss International Czech Republic 2021/2022 Natálie Kocendová, Miss Supranational Czech Republic 2021 Angelika Kostyshynová, Miss Grand Czech Republic 2021 Barbora Aglerová and Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic 2021 Veronika Šmídová will also crown their successors at the end of the finale event.
