In recent development, Miss Global organization had announced that they would be hosting two pageants this year due to covid-19 pandemic; Miss Global 2021 will be held virtually in February and March and Miss Global 2022 which will be a live competition scheduled for May and June.
The delegates were given a choice to join one or both editions of the pageant. For the same, Shane Quintana Tormes, the official representative of Philippines, has decided to participate at the live competition which will be held in Bali, Indonesia.
Shane took to her official social media as she wrote, “Hello everyone! I would like to share an update about my upcoming pageant. I hope you will continue to join in praying for me on my competition for Miss Global 2022 this coming May in Bali, Indonesia. Maraming salamat po! LABAN PARA SA PILIPINAS!”

Shane previously joined Binibining Pilipinas where she reached the Top 25 and won the ‘Binibining Friendship’ award both in 2018 and 2019. She was also crowned as Miss Philippines Earth-Fire in 2020.
Shane is very passionate about beauty pageants and feels like she is ready to showcase her skills and abilities to everyone. Through pageantry she aims at inspiring people and help them to work towards a better life.
