Miss Denmark 2020 begins registration as the country lifts lockdown

Miss Denmark Organization has opened registrations for 2020 edition as the country is slowly opening after the situation has improved in the country after covid-19 led to a global shutdown. The organization also obtained the Miss International, Miss Grand International and Miss Supranational franchise licenses in 2018. The organization wrote, “Due to the Covid19 situation, we have pushed this year's registration for later this year, as well as waiting for the government recommendations. Since Denmark is slowly opening up again, we have chosen to start our search of 30 + candidates for this year's Miss Denmark 2020 show, which is expected to be held in the fall either as a VIP event or online show, depending on how the Covid19 situation develops.”

The organization continued, “Therefore, the casting comes for security reasons to take place otherwise, namely as online casting. If you would like to consider as a candidate for this year's Miss Denmark competition, please send us an application before July 1. The winner of Miss Danmark will represent the country at a Grand Slam beauty pageant abroad in 2020/2021 with everything paid, besides winning a prize package.

 

 

To qualify for Miss Denmark 2020, a delegate must meet the following requirements -

You between 17 - 28 years (max 27 years as of 1 January 2020)

You are a Danish citizen

You are unmarried and have no children

You have never acted naked / pornographic

No height / height requirements

Last year, Katja Stokholm was crowned Miss Denmark 2019 who represented her country in Miss Universe 2019 but unfortunately remained unplaced. From Miss Denmark 2019 pageant, Sara Langtved was appointed Miss Earth Denmark 2019 and Monika Midjord Nolsøe was appointed Miss Supranational Denmark 2019.
