At the grand coronation night of Miss Universe Denmark 2019 held hours ago at at Wallmans Circus Building in Copenhagen, Katja Stokholm was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Denmark in Miss Universe 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Denmark 2018 Helene Heuser.
The 22-year-old beauty queen performed with excellence and elegance at the national competition, being every bit worthy of the national crown. She comes from a Danish / Russian family, and has therefore always been interested in gaining a deeper understanding of different cultures, people and languages. With her determination and sincerity, she sure will be a strong competitor at the international platform as well. Katja was a part of our Top 10 favourites for the title as well. 1st Runner Up: Sabrina Jovanovic
2nd Runner Up: Maria Mawuena
From the twenty five contestants who were vying for the title, Top 15 were first selected who moved forward in the competition (Apart from the winner and her court) - Helene Hylling, Khali Hash, Laila Hasanovic, Mette Rosenville, Monika Nolsøe, Sara Langtved, Stinna Petersen, Amanda Hansen, Anne Dalum, Maria Faarkrog, Narvini Dery, Petra Reigstad.

The Top 15 were then cut down to Top 10 by the accomplished panel of jury - Helene Hylling, Khali Hash, Laila Hasanovic, Mette Rosenville, Monika Nolsøe, Sara Langtved, Stinna Petersen. Lisa Lents was also congratulated for a successful show as the National Director.
Miss Universe Denmark 2018 Helena Heuser also handed over her reign and was congratulated for successfully completing hers. The finale was a definite success and with crowning a strong winner, the organization is sure setting their eyes on the coveted Miss Universe crown this year.
