Miss Dominican Republic 2020 will host its national edition soon where the delegates from all over the country will compete for national crown and the opportunity to represent Dominican Republic in Miss Universe2020. Clauvid Dály Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2019 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
While the wishlists are being prepared for the national crown, there are a few who have caught everyone’s attention with their beauty and capability to represent her country at an international stage. Kassandra Montandon, in our opinion, seems like a strong contender for Miss Dominican Republic 2020 crown.
Kassandra has already made a place for herself in the pageantry including Miss Teen Hialeah 2012, Miss Hialeah Park Teen USA 2013, Miss South Florida USA 2014, Miss South Miami USA 2015 and Miss Florida US Supranational 2015 which she won. At Miss Reina Intercontinental 2015, she represented USA in Costa Rica and won that as well. In 2016, she participated in Miss Florida USA 2016 where she won the Top 16 placement.
Born and raised in the beautiful South Florida, Kassandra is of Cuban, Dominican and German descent. Graduating from Hialeah High School as a junior in 2012, she exemplified leadership skills as class president, two-time varsity basketball player, captain of the cheerleading squad and avid member of the dance team. She has gone on to become a self-dependant and confident queen. She is a Psychology graduate and a Jovani model and L'Oréal DR ambassador.
Kassandra herself has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and her father was diagnosed at a young age with Tourette and Tic Syndrome. She will bring more awareness to the Tourette and Tic disorder and the Association. With so much experience in the pageantry and with her aim to empower and encourage people in need, Kassandra is definitely a strong representative for Dominican Republic at an international platform such as Miss Universe.
