Ever since the pageant kick started in Vienna, Austria, a lot has happened. The pageant’s first major event was the Evening Gown round, which was held on November 20’ 2015. The winners of the Evening Gown Competition are - Group 1 were: Chile - Gold, Colombia - Silver, Kosovo - Bronze. Group 2: Mongolia - Gold, New Caledonia - Silver, Russia - Bronze and Group 3: Panama - Gold, Thailand - Silver, Philippines - Bronze.

From Miss Earth USA’s controversial National Costume to Taiwan’s controversial exit, the Miss Earth this year has experienced a lot. After competing through various events, it was time for the contestants to introduce themselves to the media. Hence, on November 23’ 2015, the Press Presentation Event of Miss Earth 2015 was organised at the Hilton Danube Waterfront Vienna. The delegates were introduced to both local and international media and the entire event was hosted by hosted by Andreas Siedl of PULS4 and Katia Wagner, Miss Earth Air 2013. The welcome remarks were conducted by Markus Hussler, General Manager of Hilton Danube Waterfront Hotel and Jamie Herrell- Miss Earth 2014.

After the interview session with the contestants and a spectacular dinner, the winners of the "Darling of the Press" were announced. The winners were - Miss Earth Scotland - Bronze, Miss Earth Germany - Silver and Miss Earth Austria - Gold! After attending the Press Presentation, the next stop for the delegates was NOVOMATIC, Vienna for an Environment Seminar.

The Seminar was an interactive event, where the delegates were encouraged to share and contribute their views on how to protect the damages being caused to the environment. The contestants were engaged in an interactive discussion on environmental issues that the world faces. Looks like the girls are having a jam-packed schedule, which is at the same time very enjoyable. There are a lot of events in the list, before the pageant reaches its ultimate destination – The Finals. The finale of Miss Earth 2015 is scheduled to be held on December 19’ 2015.
