The stunning beauty queen of the Miss Earth 2016, Katherine Espin of Ecuador, is in the Philippines with the mission to make the country environmental healthy and inspire the youth to take care of this planet Earth. Aren’t we impressed? The Ecuadorian beauty who was crowned in this country is doing her best to make sure that she pays back with her good deeds. She has been planting trees, helping children and supporting the elderly in the country through various organisations. According to the pageant organisers, tree plantation by the Miss Earth beauties have largely helped in stopping soil erosion at many places.
This Miss Earth 2016 titleholder is very delighted to be in the country where she always receives so much love from the Filipinos. Katherine shares that it has been a pleasure for her to know such an amazing country where people treat her as her own. Besides her environmental work, she has been featured in two magazines, namely, El Especialito and Latin Connection.
Katherine was crowned by Angelia Ong on 29 October’ 2016 from amongst eighty three delegates who contested for the Miss Earth 2016 crown at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
