One out of the 18 girls will be crowned Miss Universe Malaysia on 23rd February. As Malaysian beauty Kiran Jassal is preparing herself for the gala Miss Universe 2016 finals, the 2017 contestants of Miss Universe Malaysia are also dedicatedly competing to be the next MUM.

The MUM Organisation is taking all the necessary steps to groom and prepare the contestants for the gala finale. Also, the contestants are making sure to prove their mettle at every step by giving in their best. While there is still about a month left for the finale, let’s get to know the contestants a little better. So, let’s know more about the Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 contestant Dana Low.

21 year old Dana Low hailing from Selangor is a multi talented and ambitious contender at this year’s MUM pageant. The bubbly and chirpy Dana Low is a student in public relations and events management. Dana describes herself as someone who is tenacious, dedicated and confident.

Dana has a strong inclination towards music and while growing up, she kept herself busy with learning piano, guitar and drum. By learning to play many musical instruments, she is able to showcase her passion and drive in doing what she loves. The beauty has always tried to manage her time in a way to keep up with her passion for music.

Dana is a health freak and knows how to keep herself healthy in between all her curricular activities and school. She has been a part of various sports, including badminton and cheerleading. She is an ambitious woman who desired to set up her own event company someday. Low is currently pursuing a Communications degree and is in her final semester.

The gala finale is slated to be held on 23rd February 2017 at The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The winner will represent Malaysia at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant later in the year. In addition to the crown, the winner of Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 will also receive RM50,000 and sponsored prizes worth over RM150,000. Who do you think will win the coveted title this year?
