Miss Earth 2022, the 22nd edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held tonight at Okada Manila in the Philippines where Mina Sue Choi of South Korea made history by becoming the first ever South Korean delegate to win a Big-4 international beauty pageant. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner of Belize. The newly crowned Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi’s elemental court included –

Miss Earth-Air 2022 Sheridan Mortlock of Australia

Sheridan Mortlock, giving a stellar performance at Miss Earth 2022, made it as the first runner-up at the end of the event finale. Sheridan began her journey on 4th September 2022 at Hyatt Regency, where she was crowned Miss Earth Australia 2022. Before that, she was adjudged Miss Earth Air Australia in 2019.

In the pre-pageant competitions, Sheridan won Miss Congeniality in fire group. She also won bronze medal in the fire group at Beach wear competition, silver medal in Asia & Oceania group in Swimsuit competition, also won Darling of the Press in Asia & Oceania category. She has studied Global Sustainability and Politics. Sheridan is very passionate about the environment and raising awareness about waste management along with switching from plastics to biodegradable products. Sheridan likes playing the piano, reading, expanding her Japanese and French fluency, and hanging out at the beach. She describes herself as a friendly personality who loves to meet new people and seeing achieving her goals.

Miss Earth-Water 2022 Nadeen Ayoub of Palestine

Nadeen Ayoub was actually the dark horse of the Miss Earth 2022 competition. She came and she conquered at the finale stage, impressing everyone with her stellar performance. To know a little about her, Nadeen is a women's fitness, health, and nutrition coach and entrepreneur. Nadeen has assisted women self-care of their physical wellbeing and mental health.

Nadeen is also a humanitarian and has worked with the Miss Palestine organization as a project coordinator. She has worked to create awareness about environmental protection by organizing environmentally friendly activities for children at summer camps and schools. She has also worked on medical aid projects to help children and families, and women empowerment projects that promote and encourage women’s independent businesses.

Miss Earth-Fire 2022 Andrea Aguilera of Colombia

Andrea Aguilera was, perhaps, the most loved delegate of Miss Earth 2022 competition. Andrea made it to almost every Miss Earth hot picks list this year. At the pre-pageant activities, she won Darling of the Press in the Americas category, gold medal at the swimsuit competition, gold medal in the fire group at the beach wear competition, bronze medal in the fire group at the long gown competition, Miss Photogenic and Best in Swimwear from fire group as well.

Andrea Aguilera is 25 years of age and hails from Medellín. She is a social communicator and journalist who holds a degree in journalism, neurolinguistic programming, and a specialization in early childhood care. Andrea has also worked as a TV presenter, professional model, and soprano singer. As for her advocacy, Andrea works with Fundación Botellas de Amor (Bottles of Love Foundation), an organization that transforms bottles full of recycled plastic into material for building houses and recreational parks for underprivileged children and their families. She also supports initiatives aiming to reduce chronic malnutrition and promotes development through nutritional treatments and comprehensive support programs.
