The 2023 edition of Miss Earth has officially begun with a private sashing ceremony held on 1st December 2023 in in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The official delegates received their stunning green sash from the Vietnam’s National Director, Ms. Truong Ngoc Án.

A total of 88 delegates were officially sashed at the ceremony as the delegates looked absolutely beautiful and stunning along with the familiar Asian conical hat popularly called Nón lá in Vietnam. These beauty queens also received incredible sponsor gifts from Vacosi Makeup and Alex & Sara Shoes at the event.

A number of girls were standouts a sashing ceremony, giving special mention to Miss Earth Greece 2023 Christianna Katsieri, Miss Earth Philippines 2023 Yllana Aduana, Miss Earth USA 2023 Danielle Mullins, Miss Earth Colombia 2023 Luz Adriana López, Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2023 Victoria Arocho to name a few.

The green sash, synonymous with the Miss Earth pageant, serves as a visible reminder of their commitment to environmental awareness and advocacy. The sashes are made manually out of eco-friendly fabric and are most durable. The theme of the 2023 edition of Miss Earth is ‘ME Loves TREE’.

Miss Earth 2023, the 23rd edition of Miss Earth, will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 22nd December 2023 where Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi of South Korea will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
