The organization of Miss Earth Ecuador appointed Gabriela Monsalve as the new Miss Earth Ecuador 2020 on 28th September 2020 as she will represent the country at Miss Earth 2020 stage. She succeeds Miss Earth Ecuador 2019 Antonella Paz for the title.
Gabriela was handpicked by the organization and the announcement was done on the official social media account of Miss Earth Ecuador. Hailing from the province of Manabi, the diva is 24-years-old and is a journalist and social communication graduate. She is very excited to represent the country at the virtual competition and feels confident in performing her best at the competition.
The diva is not new to the world of beauty pageant as she was Miss Manabi Cultura y Civismo 2017 and represented Manabi in Reina Nacional del Langostino 2017. She is strong, confident, and focused on performing her best at the competition and making the people of Ecuador proud. Ecuador has won the Miss Earth crown twice; in 2011 with Olga Alava and in 2016 with Katherine Espin, who is now the national director of Miss Earth Ecuador.
Gabriela would be using the platform to educate and create awareness about the environmental advocacy she believes in. She is confident, passionate, and very grateful for the organization of Miss Earth Ecuador for believing in her and trusting her with the title especially during such tough times. She has assured that she will do her best and make the people of her country proud. She believes in working hard at every step of the life and has already started to prepare herself for the pageant.
The diva believes that Miss Earth competition serves as a platform for the divas who genuinely wishes to work for the betterment of the environment and she is very glad to be a part of such a prestigious stage. The finale of Miss Earth 2020 will be held on 29th November 2020 virtually.
Congratulations!
