Emilia Lepomäki was appointed the new Miss Earth Finland 2020 recently and will be representing Finland at Miss Earth 2020 stage. Finland last competed at Miss Earth eight years ago and will be returning to Miss Earth stage with Emilia Lepomaki. She is very excited and feels honored to be a part of Miss Earth family and holding onto a historic title.
Emilia is 21-years-old and resides in Vantaa and has completed her higher education from Laurea University of Applied Sciences and works at Danske Bank. She is excited to represent her country at Miss Earth 2020 stage and feels immensely proud that the country is returning to Miss Earth stage and she is the first one to do that almost after 8 years of wait.
After she announced that she will be representing Finland at Miss Earth 2020 stage, she mentioned that she was sad when she heard that Miss Eco International 2020 was postponed until next year as she was crowned Miss Eco Finland 2020. But she added that not everything tends to get organized and everything always has a purpose. She urged everyone to believe in oneself and their dreams just like her and rest everything follows. She also mentioned that the beauty pageant is going to be held virtually so there is no fear of cancellation or infection.
The diva is not new to the pageantry as she was one of the semi-finalists at Miss Suomi 2018 and was also adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Tampere 2019. Emilia was also the first runner-up at Miss Europe Contl Finland 2019. The diva has been appreciated for her strong performance throughout her beauty pageant career and has worked with some of the renowned designers and brands in Finland to gain more experience and knowledge about beauty pageants.
Emilia is passionate about changing the choices that one has been making in order to improve the quality of the environment and mother nature in general. She has mentioned, “We can’t be healthy if the environment surrounding us is not healthy. She’s a part of our life. Make the small change today for a promised lifelong betterment.” She likes to stay out in nature and embrace the beautiful scenic views and is trying to make healthy and impactful choices in order to let that scenic beauty stay.
The diva believes that one must put in their all effort and mind into something they really desire and should always be affirmative that something bigger is waiting for them in future. Without hardwork and focus, nothing can be achieved. She is quite confident about herself and with such confidence and endearing beauty she is sure be able to win everyone’s heart at the international finale and will secure a noteworthy spot at the conclusion.
Emilia has started to prepare for the competition and focusing on her advocacy and using the time given to work on herself including on-stage walk, body postures, body angles and stage confidence. She is also working on her physical appearance along with communication and interview skills as well. The virtual coronation ceremony of Miss Earth 2020 which is scheduled to be held between 21st September to 29th November 2020.
