Eliane Zgheib was crowned Miss Earth Lebanon 2018 (Miss Summer Lebanon 2018) on 29th July 2018. Born in 1995, the 23-year-old queen is a model, an actress and a singer originating from Byblos, Lebanon. Eliane won the title out of a total of nine participants and now has been presented with a golden chance of representing her nation at Miss Earth 2018.

Eliane was crowned by her predecessor Miss Earth Lebanon 2017 Elsa Antoun who represented Lebanon at Miss Earth 2017 and won the talent round at the finale.

In a heartfelt message to her followers on Instagram, she says that she knows the society is not appreciative towards women and more so, towards artistic women, but she wishes to rise above the appreciation and bring about a change in Lebanon for which she has been given the agency through the pageant. She is ready to incur losses and gain experience. She wishes to gain more experience in acting as well as contribute to the society.

At the finale, the first Runner-up of Miss Summer Lebanon 2018 was Elise Kharrat, while Anastasia Abi Metri won the title of Second Runner-up. Despite being a constant participant in the Miss Earth pageant since 2001, Lebanon has not yet seen a Miss Earth from their nation. The highest position Lebanon has reached at the Miss Earth pageant is when Miss Earth Lebanon 2007 Amale El Khoder was placed in the Top 16 at Miss Earth 2007.
