In an official announcement by Miss Grand Spain Organization just hours ago, Mariola Partida Angulo renounced her title and withdrew from the competition due to personal reasons. She will not be representing Spain at Miss Grand International 2018 anymore. The first runner-up at Miss Grand Spain 2018 Patricia López Verdes will be the official representative of Spain at Miss Grand International 2018.
The 19-year-old Spanish beauty is currently a student of English Philology at the University of Murcia and also working as a model. Patricia has always been a follower of beauty pageants but she had never dared to participate in any before. With the support of her family and her friends, she joined Miss Grand Spain 2018 and secured the first runner-up position and now, as the fate would have it, is the new Miss Grand Spain 2018.
Miss Grand International Organization also revealed the news on their official social media and welcomed Patricia to the Miss Grand family!
