Miss Earth Philippines 2020, the first virtual edition of Miss Earth Philippines, has begun with its preliminary competition as for the first time ever, a winner will be crowned virtually to represent Philippines at Miss Earth 2020. The winner will succeed Miss Earth Philippines 2019 Janelle Lazo Tee who represented Philippines at Miss Earth 2019.
The Talent competition (beach wear category) was held on 11th June 2020 where the contestants showed their creativity from their own homes. The competition was conducted via the Zoom meeting platform, where delegates showcased their beautiful beach wear from their own respective locations. They were judged by Miss Earth 2018 Nguyen Phuong Khanh, Ricky Abad; official swimwear designers of Miss Philippines Earth and Ferdinand Abejon; he covers international pageant and has covered about 17 Miss Philippines Earth and Mike Francisco; broadcaster and reporter at RJTV and DZRJ810am. The event was hosted by Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Janelle Lazo Tee. Here are the winners of the category –
Gold - June Cyra Pineda of Talacogon, Agusan del Sur
June Cyra won the first prize or gold award at the Beach Wear category of the virtual talent competition. She wore a beautiful peach coloured beach wear and looked stunning while she walked. She paired her beach wear with a beautiful pair of earrings and has a pretty smile to compliment her look.
Silver - Shane Quintana Tormes of Atimonan, Quezon
Shane Quintana Tormes won the second prize or silver award at the Beach Wear category of the virtual talent competition. She wore a neon coloured beach wear and looked beautiful. She looked confident and is one of the strongest contenders for the title.
Bronze - Roxie Baeyens of Baguio City
Roxie Baeyens won the third prize or bronze award at the Beach Wear category of the virtual talent competition. She wore a beautiful yellow coloured beach wear and was very positive through out competition. She uploaded a picture of her beach wear and captioned, “Always carry sunshine wherever you go.”
