Miss Earth Philippines 2020, the first virtual edition of Miss Earth Philippines, has begun with its preliminary competition as for the first time ever, a winner will be crowned virtually to represent Philippines at Miss Earth 2020. The winner will succeed Miss Earth Philippines 2019 Janelle Lazo Tee who represented Philippines at Miss Earth 2019.

The Talent competition (causal wear category) was held on 18th June 2020 where the contestants showed their beautiful and colorful attires from their own homes. The competition was conducted via the Zoom meeting platform, where delegates showcased their beautiful beach wear from their own respective locations. They were judged by Miss Earth Water 2019 Klara Vavruskova, Andy Cayna; professional photographer, Jhong Sudlon; fashion designer and Jay Barbo; founder of Pageant Trend and a blogger. The event was hosted by Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Angelee Delos Reyes. Here are the winners of the category –

Gold - Shane Quintana Tormes of Atimonan, Quezon

Shane Quintane was declared as the winner of the gold award at the casual wear competition. She wore a beautiful yellow dress and explained about her advocacy. She explained that she is an avid traveller and through her advocacy she wants everyone to know that one can enjoy mother nature in every way and be responsible at the same time.

Silver - Japheth Lasco of Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga del Sur

Japheth Lasco was declared as the winner of the silver award at the casual wear competition. She wore a beautiful pant suit which was inspired from a malong, the pattern or style of the malong may indicate the weaver's tribal origin, such as the Maranao malong landap. She states that she loves to advocate about environmental education in a natural way.

Bronze - Tsina Jade Chu of Iloilo City

Tsina Jade Chu was declared as the winner of the bronze award at the casual wear competition. She wore a beautiful blue coloured dress which looked gorgeous on her and she paired her dress with a beautiful headgear. She explained that she wants to work for the under privileged kids and help their lives to be better.
