Yllana Aduana, after a successful stint at Miss Earth Philippines 2021, is ready to take on the pageant again as she has become an official delegate of Miss Earth Philippines 2023. Yllana Aduana has always shown a strong penchant to be a part of a pageant that’s advocacy driven. She is a Licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist and a model by profession. The stunning beauty was a Top 12 finalist at Binibining Pilipinas 2022. Prior to that, she went to compete at Miss Fit Philippines and won as well.

Announcing her application, Yllana wrote, “Personally submitted Miss Earth Philippines application today at the Carousel Mansion! Eco-friendly fact: Instead of producing a new outfit for today’s event, we opted to go the sustainable route by pulling out this beautiful dress from @religiosomanila (Which happens to be owned by a fellow Siniloeña like me! Why buy when you can borrow, right? And we definitely support brands that also support our cause! And you should, too!”

“I was being completely honest when I told myself that I only wanna be joining pageants that are advocacy-driven because that is the legacy that I want to leave as a queen. And I was also being 100% serious when I told my core team back in 2021 that I am going back to Miss Philippines Earth when the time is right because that is where my heart truly lies. Miss Philippines Earth 2021 on a virtual setup was my FIRST ever pageant but now I just can’t put into words how elated I am to be joining MPE”, she exclaimed.

Recently, Yllana Marie Aduana, as the President of EJuan, conducted a seminar on Environmental Awareness and Sustainability at Brgy. Wawa, Siniloan, Laguna. Team Ejuan alongside the Local Government of Siniloan, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Barangay Wawa Council, Barangay Council of Gen. Luna, PNP Siniloan, Ahon Core, and other volunteers, conducted a Tree Planting Activity. Hundred bamboo shoots were planted by the attendees. Planting bamboo along the riverside helps strengthen riverbanks, act as a windbreaker during damaging storms, and promote oxygenation, ecological diversity and livelihood opportunities. This activity aims to raise awareness among citizens and youth on the importance of planting and its survival. This, added to it, is to unite participants in activities such as seminar for acquiring proper knowledge on ways to reduce the threat of flooding, landslides, and the impact of climate change among other things.

From the beginning of the competition, Yllana Marie Aduana became a strong contender at Miss Philippines Earth 2023. She won gold medal for ‘Darling of the Press’ at the official press presentation. Also, Yllana Marie Aduana won bronze at the Talent competition and also gold at the swimsuit competition.

Miss Earth Philippines 2023 will be the 23rd edition of the national pageant where the stunning beauties will compete for the crown and the winner will represent Philippines at Miss Earth 2023. Jenny Ramp Miss Earth Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
