Miss Earth Puerto Rico organization is all set to host the 2022 edition of the national pageant soon as delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and to win an opportunity to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Earth 2022. Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2021 Cristina Mariel Ríos will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The pageant, this year, will take on the theme ‘Colors of the Earth’. The organization also hosted the orientation for the new delegates in July where the reigning queen Cristina Mariel Ríos welcomed the new candidates. The winner will succeed Cristina Mariel Ríos of San Sebastian, who has recently replaced Valerie Vigoreaux Cortés as the new Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2021. Cristina represented Puerto Rico at Miss Earth 2021 but didn’t place in the Top 20. She did win gold medal in the Casual Chic competition.
