The Miss Earth Singapore organization has recently announced the comeback of its physical coronation for the 2022 edition. “After two years of disruption due to the Covid-19 restrictions in Singapore, Miss Earth Singapore is finally back to host the physical Miss Earth Singapore 2022 coronation night event,” they shared.

With five titles at stake, the organization will crown its new queen to represent the country at Miss Earth 2022. For the past two years, no pageants were held due to the global pandemic. The last two appointed queens, Miss Earth Singapore 2020 Christina Cai and Miss Earth Singapore 2021 Ruth d’Almeida, both represented the country at the virtual editions of the international pageant.

While, Cai managed to finish among the Top 20 at the Miss Earth 2020 pageant, Ruth remained unplaced at the end of the Miss Earth 2021 virtual coronation ceremony. For the 2022 edition, the organization has also revealed the requirements for aspiring delegates including –

Age: 18-28 years old

The aspirant should be single & never been married

Height: 165cm tall

The aspirant must be Singaporean or PR

The aspirant must be Outgoing & friendly, in excellent physical condition and should have environmental knowledge

Miss Earth Singapore, which is a beauty pageant with a cause and responsibility, is driven by an ultimate aim to enhance our awareness and sustainable development on the environmental crisis and challenges we are facing. Like every year, this year the crowns at stake are, Miss Earth Singapore 2022, Miss Earth Singapore Air 2022, Miss Earth Singapore Water 2022, Miss Earth Singapore Fire 2022 and Miss Earth Singapore Eco-Tourism 2022. Other subsidiary awards include Best in swimsuit, Miss Photogenic and Miss Friendship.
