The organization of Miss Earth Syria appointed Tiya Alkerdi as the new Miss Earth Syria 2020 on 2nd October 2020 and she will represent the country at the virtual coronation ceremony of Miss Earth 2020. Syria is making history with Tiya’s appointment as Miss Earth Syria 2020 as Miss Earth 2020 is going to be a debut for the country at the competition.

Tiya is 23-years-old and works as a professional model in Aleppo and is very excited to represent the country at the Miss Earth 2020 stage especially since it is a debut of the country. The diva is not new to pageantry as she was a part of Miss Arab 2017 and Miss Syria Elegance 2018 competitions.

The diva describes herself as cheerful, spontaneous, strong, and stubborn who believes in working hard for her dreams and making the people who believe in her proud and happy. She is very confident that she will be able to perform her best even though it is going to be a debut participation for Syria at Miss Earth competition. She has started to prepare herself for the competition and is focusing on her skills and abilities.

Tiya believes in a strong conviction that makes her be assured by how she is not compare herself with others. The diva believes that Miss Earth competition serves as a platform for the divas who genuinely wishes to work for the betterment of the environment and she is very glad to be a part of such a prestigious stage. The finale of Miss Earth 2020 will be held on 29th November 2020 virtually. She is very grateful for the organization who believed in her and trusted her with the title of Miss Earth Syria 2020. She has experienced the feel of being on stage and would use the platform to carry her environmental advocacy forward.
