Miss Earth titleholders to grace the Miss Earth USA 2022 coronation

The Miss Earth USA organization is all set to host the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 8th January 2022 where delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and an opportunity to represent USA at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant. At the end of the event, the reigning Miss Earth USA 2021 and Miss Earth Air 2021 Marisa Paige Butler will crown her successor.

As the divas gear up for the preliminary competitions scheduled for tonight and the finale happening tomorrow, the organization is all set to put up a successful and star-studded production for yet another year.

Just how the forces of nature conspires to make things happen, some Miss Earth titleholders have gathered to grace the night for the coronation as they have arrived in Orlando for the grand finale. So, without any further ado, let us meet the star guests who will be attending Miss Earth USA 2022 –

Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel

Nellys Rocio Pimentel Campusano is a Puerto Rican model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Earth 2019. The diva became the first-ever Puerto Rican and Caribbean woman to win Miss Earth. She called the attention of her nation's leaders "to stop taking advantage of the environment and start initiatives to protect and give back to it." After winning Miss Earth 2019, her country Puerto Rico became the fourth country to win titles for each of the Big Four pageants.

In August 2019, Pimentel used her platform as Miss Earth Puerto Rico to call for attention on the Amazon rainforest wildfires in Brazil. She graced the cover of an American monthly women's fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar- Vietnam's edition in October 2020 and talked about her mission as Miss Earth winner being the voice of unspoken injustices and inadequacies. She also appeared on the cover of GMARO Paris Magazine in October 2020 and advocated the importance of biodegradable products in place of disposables.

Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey

American model, activist and beauty queen Lindsey Marie Coffey was crowned Miss Earth 2020, making her the first representative from the United States to win the Miss Earth title. The diva was also the first ever Miss Earth queen to be crowned virtually.

Coffey is a Climate Reality Leader and WWF ambassador. As a Miss Earth titleholder, she conducts media outreach for social causes and encourages voting, reduced plastic consumption, and community engagement while asking consumers to buy organic and local foods to reduce carbon footprint.

She supports projects such as Food for Life Global, Adopt-a-Highway, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, and The Humane Society. Believing awareness is the foundation for change, she also created Eco-Ed: The Series, an informative and educational vlog detailing the effects and key factors of the climate crisis.

Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner

The newly crowned Miss Earth 2021, history maker, Belize’s Destiny Wagner will also join the special night as a guest. Apart from bringing home the first international crown for her country, Destiny also broke the competition’s record spanning 19 years without a Black winner.

The queen advocates for two issues including sustainability of marine life and conservation of our natural resources and children’s rights. Destiny is a creative content provider and influencer. She currently own a small smoothie shopin her hometown Punta Gorda where she makes and sells organic shakes and smoothies. She is also a published author and have two books currently available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Miss Earth Air 2021 Marisa Paige Butler

The reigning queen, Miss Earth USA 2021 Marisa Paige Butler is an American model and beauty queen who was recently crowned as Miss Earth Air 2021. The diva has also made the country proud before this when as a national titleholder, Butler represented the United States at Miss World 2018, placing in the top thirty.

As Miss Earth USA 2021 delegate, her most noteworthy conservation effort was during her time as a volunteer for NOAA’s Corporative Shark Tagging Program. She now helps restore wildlife habitats in San Diego for the endangered California Least Terns. She also has her own project #ServiceSaturday project which was her weekly volunteer day but is now an online movement that aims to get people to schedule time in their week to give back to their community by utilizing their unique skill sets and interest.

While the diva will also crown her successor, the others will definitely be a source of strength and inspiration for the delegates competing. Apart from the guests, the jury panel for the night will include, Iman Oubou, Owner of SWAAY Media and 2015 Miss New York; Cyrus Frakes, reality TV Star and Founder of Gowns & Crowns; Davonna Finley, Pageant Analyst on The Sovereign and Former Earth local titleholder; Rosanna Tran, reality TV Star, Philanthropist and Business Owner and R. Scott French, owner of Very New York Public Relations & Fashion Industry Expert.
