Miss World Philippines 2022, the 11th edition of the Miss World Philippines, was held tonight at the Mall of Asia Artena, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the coveted national crowns and the opportunity to represent Philippines at international beauty pageants.

At the end of the event, Gwendolyne Furniol from Negros Occidental was crowned as the new Miss World Philippines 2022. Apart from the new queen, Aklan’s Beatriz McLelland was crowned Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2022 and will be representing the country at Miss Eco Teen International 2022.

The diva is 19 years old and is studying AB Behavioral Sciences at the De La Salle University. Beatriz is smart, well-spoken and very confident. Not new to pageantry, she has been crowned Miss Teen Intercontinental 2020.

She succeeds Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2021 Tatyana Austria who represented the country at Miss Eco Teen International 2021 and was adjudged as the first runner-up. Beatriz will now prepare for her international stint at the Miss Eco Teen International 2022 to be held in December this year.
