The finale of Miss New York USA 2022 was held on 4^th June 2022 at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls where Heather Nunez was crowned Miss New York USA 2022 and became the official representative of New York at Miss USA 2022.

Heather Nunez grew up in Queens, New York City and her family is originally from the Dominican Republic. She graduated from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. Not new to the pageantry, she finished in the Top 16 at Miss New York Teen USA 2015. She was third runner-up to Miss New York USA 2020 Andreia Gibau. In 2021, she was adjudged first runner-up at Miss New York USA 2021.

The newly crowned Miss New York USA 2022 Heather Nunez’s court included –

1^st Runner-up – Zoe McGrady

2^nd Runner-up – Michelle Leon

3^rd Runner-up – Marizza Delgado

4^th Runner-up – Toni Pringley

Top 11 also included Tiffani Singleton, Dominique Reynolds, Jaya Madray, Nadgenna Jerome, Rachelle Di Stasio and Christiana DiNardo while Top 21 also included Melanie Silvestrini, Jasmine Silvagnoli, Dorina Papraniku, Emily Mahana, Andrianna Mackey, Aundria Littlejohn, Andrea Jaramillo Vasquez, Analise Healy, Britney Dhautal and Maxine Cesar.

Also at the finale, Diya Chowdhury was crowned Miss New York Teen USA 2022 as she became the official representative of New York at Miss Teen USA 2022. Congratulations to both the winners.
