Miss Ecuador 2018 held its finale on 5th May 2018 at the Oro Verde Hotel in Machala. A total of 22 candidates from all over 11 provinces fought for the national title. At the end of the coronation night, Virginia Limongi Silva representing Manabi was crowned Miss Ecuador 2018. She succeeds and was crowned by the outgoing Miss Ecuador Daniela Cepada.
The international model and student of nutrition and dietetics wore a dress of lights and transparencies tight to the body that dazzled on the stage of the Hotel Oro Verde, which hosted the event. Virginia Limongi also took the bands of Miss Popularity, Best Attitude, Miss Cielo and Miss Skin Care, awards from the commercial sponsors of the contest.
“I am very grateful to all the people who helped me, the organization, my family and my fans who have been key in this participation”, said Limongi.
Also at the coronation, Michelle Huet, the first runner-up was crowned Miss International Ecuador 2018 and Norma Tejada, the second runner-up was crowned Miss Grand International Ecuador 2018.
