The 33rd Victoires de la musique ceremony at the Seine Musical in Paris took place this Friday, February 9, and Iris Mittenaere, former Miss Universe was invited on stage.

To present the first prize of these Victoires de la Musique 2018, the album "Musiques du Monde" won by the artist -M-, the presenter and mistress of ceremony Daphné Bürki was accompanied by a guest of choice, celebrated around the world for her beauty: Iris Mittenaere, former Miss Universe 2016 and Miss France 2016.

Before announcing the award, Iris Mittenaere exchanged a few jokes with the mistress of ceremonies Daphne Bürki. "I traveled a lot this year. I have traveled the world (...). But I am very happy to be back in France," she declared.

Iris might no longer be the reigning queen, but she hasn’t let down any of her fans when it comes to her performances. She justifies her being chosen Miss Universe 2016, and rightfully so. The beauty queen puts effort on each of her outfits, and it shows when she walks in front of the camera with elegant outfits.

For her appearance on the Victoires de la Musique 2018 at the Musical Seine of Boulogne-Billancourt, Iris Mittenaere opted for a silver and white ensemble. Silver sequined trousers, white top with long train with ultra-plunging neckline retained by straps at the chest. A sexy yet elegant choice by the one crowned the most beautiful woman of the universe in 2016.

Sadly, Iris came under crossfire by Twitteratis for her choice of a revealing ensemble for the night.

Twitter users quickly reacted to seeing the former beauty queen. Many praised her for the choice of clothes, fitting the occasion. But not everyone was under her spell, but far from it.

A Twitterati wrote: "Long live Miss Universe, they could have put on some underwear at least." Another said: "Miss Universe put her shirt upside down, no?"

Iris has not reacted to the trolling yet, and considering the beauty queen’s past activities, she will probably take the whole fiasco with grace, and a grain of salt.
