Miss Rwanda 2018 competition is now ready to heat up a little as the 20 finalists have started their boot camp on 9th February 2018 when they arrived at Golden Tulip Hotel in Nyamata at Bugesera District.

These is a two-week boot camp which serves the purpose of providing professional training to the girls and grooms them in various areas like etiquettes, manners, posture, fitness and much more.

After the girls settled down in their hotel, they immediately started with their fitness training the next morning. On day 1, the Director of Culture at Inteko Nyarwanda delivered a lecture on the role of Culture in national development. Not just classes but the girls are also given the task of conducting further research on topics discussed during the day.

Along with this, Senator Tito Rutaremara on Saturday evening paid a visit to Miss Rwanda 2018 boot camp and he discussed Rwandan values (Indangagaciro). He urged them to promote & uphold values of Humanity, Self-value, Patriotism & Heroism. The girls were excited to meet Mzee Tito. Most of them consider him as an inspiration and a role model!

They also had the pleasure of discussing Rwanda's liberation struggle with Lt Col Kabayiza Sostene from the Ministry of Defense, who was the guest speaker.

They also found some time to relax and attend a football match Rayon Sports vs Lydia Ludic game at Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.

While there still time for the finale night which is set to take place on 24th February 2018 at the Kigali Convention Centre, Kigali, Randa, it’s good to see the girls working hard to inch closer towards the winning title.
