The stunning beauty posted video with the official announcement as she wrote, “Proud to announce that I will represent France at the next Miss Universe competition. A year after returning my crown, I never gave up my dream to go back on stage to represent our country internationally. Next December, we will make our country's colors shine loud and clear.”

Not new to the pageantry, in December 2021, Diane was crowned Miss France 2022 where she represented Île-de-France at the Zénith de Caen in Caen, Normandy. However, due to her schedule and conflicts with duties as Miss France, she could not participate at Miss Universe then.
