Miss France 2022 was held on 11th December 2021 at the Zénith de Caen in Caen where Diane Leyre was crowned the new queen. The stunning winner is expected to represent France at either Miss Universe 2022 or Miss World 2022.

Leyre was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine to parents André and Sabine Leyre. The stunning beauty graduated with her baccalauréat in economics and social sciences with honors. After that, she completed one year of law school before moving to Madrid to enroll in IE University, later graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Diane Leyre is a fluent speaker of Spanish and English. She is currently settled in Paris and began working with the real estate development company Jadley. Not new to the pageant world, Diane began her pageantry career in 2021, after registering as a contestant in Miss Paris 2021.

Diane gave pageantry a go after getting inspiration from her cousin Illana Barry who competed at Miss France 2021. She went on to win the title, which qualified her to compete in Miss Île-de-France 2021. Winning the regional crown as well, Diane competed at Miss France 2022.

The 24-year-old French beauty stands 177 cm tall. Leyre is a great fitness enthusiast who loves to read novels. The French beauty has shown immense potential to be a strong representative of France at an international platform. The organization is yet to announce which international platform she will compete at.

The French beauty received media attention for using a baguette as an accessory for her regional costume, and for stumbling on stage in her evening gown. Leyre became the sixteenth woman from Île-de-France to win the title. As Miss France, Leyre is expected to represent France at either Miss Universe 2022 or Miss World 2022.
