Former Miss France Sylvie Tellier has officially announced that she has left the Miss France organization after 17 years of service. She joined Miss France Committee in 2005 as the head of external relations. In 2007, she was appointed as its national director replacing Geneviève de Fontenay.

The 44-year-old beauty queen took to her official social media on 31st August 2022 to make a public statement. She wrote that the decision was made with a lot of emotion ‘because you don't leave a company after 17 years without memories in your head.’

Sylvie also wrote, “I felt that I had nothing more to contribute, I lived the best years.” She also admitted that she wanted shares of the company she worked for nearly 20 years, and if it had become her company, she might have stayed.

Sylvie was crowned Miss France 2002 and went on to represent her country at Miss Universe 2002 in Puerto Rico. Miss France 2005, Cindy Fabre, will now join the organization as her replacement alongside President and CEO Alexia Laroche-Joubert.

Miss France organization also posted the official statement as she wrote, “We sincerely thank her for all these years that will remain in the history of the competition. We wish her much happiness for her future adventures.”
