Meet the beautiful finalist of Miss Gibraltar 2016, Ashleen Snape. 24 years old delegate loves shopping, travelling, keeping fit, spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in English & Spanish.

Ashleen is working as an office clerk currently, and would like to progress in her current work place and become a property Sales Agent.

For her, the idea of a perfect day is spending a nice day out with family, friends and her dog. She is totally a family person!

Talking about her country, Gibraltar, Ashleen feels that her nation is helpful and caring. She says, “I like the fact that we are a close community, which is generally caring and giving when support is needed and I like the way everyone respects each other’s Religion and beliefs”.

But there is something that this beauty doesn’t like. She confesses, “The only thing I can think of is that sometimes we take for granted how lucky we are”.

Her main idea behind competing for this coveted title is to enjoy the pageant.  “I have joined again because I enjoyed last year’s build up and pageant so much I wish to experience it again”, she says.

“I feel it would be a great honour and privilege to represent Gibraltar on an international stage and be able to assist to the community where possible and be a role model to younger girls”, says Ashleen on being asked why she wants to be Miss Gibraltar.

The winner of Miss Gibraltar 2016 will compete at the Miss World 2016 pageant, the first runner-up will compete at Miss International 2016 and the second runner-up will compete at the Miss Supranational 2016 pageant.
