Miss Global 2015 Jessica Peart is in Philippines to prepare for the Miss Global 2016 pageant.The gala ceremony is slated to be held on September 24’ 2016 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

She is very excited about the crowning ceremony as she expressed her excitement to a renowned portal saying - “Last year when I was here, I did get a small sense of the culture. I fell in love with just that small little glimpse so I was really excited to come back and learn more about it.”
She also stated about the warm hospitality of the Filipinos, “After I was crowned, I was at the airport and I didn’t have my crown and sash on because I just wanted to lie low, but people knew who I was. It was just so humbling to me to know that even though I’m not from the Philippines, I was treated as one of them which is really nice.”
The reigning Miss Global beauty also describes her Miss Global experience as “an incredible adventure” for having travelled the world to see different countries, learn various cultures, and meet new people. But the most exciting part for her was the humanitarian work. “That’s really something I’m passionate about [because I] had the opportunity to spread the awareness, and that’s what the Miss Global pageant is about. It’s about giving back and empowering women [by] giving us the chance to do something good and give back to those who need it the most,” she added.
The Australian beauty Jessica Peart was also crowned in the Philippines last year.
Jessica is positive about the upcoming international crowning ceremony as she describes - “I think it will be bigger and better, and it’ll just be that next step that the overall organization is [going to] take in terms of evolving and becoming one of the best pageants in the world.”
