Miss Costa Rica 2016 is on walking on its road to the crown and is scheduled to be held on 19th August 2016 at 8pm (Costa Rica time). Many young contestants registered for the coveted pageant, out of which 50 aspirants were shortlisted to compete further. These 50 contestants further competed through various preliminary rounds and the 10 who made it to the final cut are –

The finale of Miss Costa Rica 2016 will be televised live on Teletica. The contestants will be judged on the basis of different rounds – Personality Round, Swimsuit Round, Evening Gown Round and Question and Answer Round. At the conclusion of the finale, Miss Costa Rica 2015 Brenda Castro will pass on her crown to her successor.
