The Miss Global organization will soon be hosting the coronation ceremony for Miss Global 2021 in Bali, Indonesia, where delegates from all over the world will participate and compete for the crown. The winner will succeed Miss Global 2019 Karolína Kokešová from the Czech Republic for the title.
Sandra Lim was crowned Miss Global Malaysia 2021 in April 2021 and is going to represent the country at Miss Global 2021. She succeeds Miss Global Malaysia 2019 Saroop Roshi for the title and is very excited about starting her preparations for the competition. She took to her social media to share the news, "Thank you Ratu Wanita Malaya for believing in me and entrusting me to represent Malaysia once again. From holding swords to holding a crown, my journey has always been about hard work and passion. Being an athlete for most of my life, I believe through discipline and consistent effort, you can achieve whatever you set your heart to do. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity."
Hailing from Kuala Lumpur, Sandra is 20-years-old and stands 174 cm tall. She is a second-year student working on her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. She has been an active participant in the field of martial arts for the past 10 years and is now pursuing a career in the entertainment industry as a model and actress. She entered the entertainment industry when she was 18-years-old and started working as a model for gowns and local brands. She later represented Malaysia at Miss Model of the World 2018 in China. She has always been passionate about beauty pageants as she believes that it is a great platform for women to find their purpose like she did.
The diva aspires to be able to collaborate and represent bigger brands, especially sports brands. She wants to be a full-time model/actress and wishes to work on more projects. In one of her posts on social media, Sandra shared that she fought and overcame a lot of challenges in her life to be where she is today and she is very grateful for that. She hopes to inspire the hearts of the younger ones so that they too can achieve what they set their hearts out to do.
Sandra is a confident, determined, and hard-working woman who has her eyes set on her goals and is working every day to achieve them. In one of her questions and answers videos on her social media, she shared that while she was growing up, she was bullied and humiliated publicly, which did bother her until she realized what her passion was sports. She explained that she did not let the negativity of people get to her and worked even harder than what she was doing. That helped her with gaining confidence, experience, and winning awards. Sandra was asked about how at a young age she was able to win beauty pageants, to which she stated that age does not define what a person can do and cannot do. It completely depends upon hard work and experience. She encouraged her fans and followers to start early in their lives if they have set goals because challenges and setbacks help you evolve and grow.

As a martial artist, she is trained to be disciplined and work hard every day and she follows the same routine.
