The 8th edition of Miss Grand International will be held on 27th March 2021 in Thailand where stunning beauties from all over the globe will compete for the international crown. The beauty competition will be held keeping all the covid-19 safety norms in mind and the beauty queens have already completed their 14-days quarantine period. Miss Grand International 2019 Valentina Figuera will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
During the quarantine period of the beauty queens, various challenges were organized by the organization to keep the queens busy and entertained along with adding a little to their preparation for the finale night. The last challenge before the quarantine ended was ‘Queen with the Golden Crown Challenge’ where the divas had to edit the Miss Grand International golden crown and place it over their head with their most excited reaction. The five winners were announced recently and the organization announced that one of the winning countries will be receiving, ‘Country Choice of the Year’ title and will directly enter the top 20 for the finale.
Just a few hours ago, Miss Grand International organization took to their official Facebook page to announce that Miss Grand Cambodia 2020 Chily Tevy has won the ‘Country Choice of the Year’ title with 37.839,768 points and becomes the first diva to enter the Top 20 round. The voting was open for public and the people of Cambodia made their representative win.
Second place was secured by Miss Grand Indonesia 2020 Aurra Kharishma with 37,696,144 points and third was Miss Grand Colombia 2020 Natalia Manrique Aguilar with 479,292 points, whereas Miss Grand Ecuador 2020 Sonia Luna Menéndez secured the fourth position with 475,618 points and Miss Grand Brazil 2020 Lala Guedes was at the last position with 24,830 points.
The beauty queens have been performing exceptionally well at the competition making the people of their country proud with strong and confident performances. A press conference was also held recently where the divas were officially welcomed and introduced themselves to the other delegates. The organization has managed to keep the divas busy and excited for the finale night and Miss Grand Cambodia 2020 already entering the Top 20 adds up to the excitement.
