Miss Grand International organization, through the official social media, announced the official representative of China at the upcoming edition of Miss Grand International. Shirley Yu is Miss Grand China 2022. Since China withdrew its participation from Miss Grand International in 2021, Shirley succeeds Miss Grand China 2020 Fiona Tao.

Shirley is 28 years of age, standing 174 cm tall. She’s a graphic designer, model, English teacher, nail technician, and personal branding coach. Shirley graduated from Simon Fraser University with a degree in Interactive Arts and Technology. After her graduation, she escalated a creative mind in branding and digital media.

Shirley is extremely passionate about beauty and building self-confidence. The beauty queen created her own program ‘Brand Your Beauty’ where she hosts online sessions teaching people graphic design skills and how to build confidence through building a personal brand.

Being Miss Grand China 2022, Shirley would like to honor her heritage and culture, as well as teaching younger generations how to become their own role models. With her stunning beauty and amiable personality, Shirley is surely going to be a strong contender for the international crown. China is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Grand International.
