Miss Grand Ecuador organization, through the official social media, announced that Lisseth Naranjo has been adjudged Miss Grand Ecuador 2022 as she replaces Emilia Vásquez Larrea and will represent Ecuador at Miss Grand International 2022.
Emilia Vásquez Larrea was previously crowned Miss Grand Ecuador 2022 in March 2022; however, she withdrew her participation from the international competition and gave up her title due to personal reasons which were not stated.
Miss Grand Ecuador organization took to their official social media to announce the news as they wrote, “We officially announce Lisseth Naranjo Goya Miss Grand Ecuador 2022, and who will represent us this October 25 at the world final to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Welcome back!”

Lisseth Naranjo was adjudged Miss Grand Ecuador previously in 2020 as well but she was later replaced by Sonia Luna. Lisseth Naranjo’s retirement from her crown was a mutual agreement promoted by the Director of the Ecuador National Beauty Contest Tahiz Panus. So, it will be a second chance for Lisseth to present her country at Miss Grand International.
