The organization of the National Beauty Contest of El Salvador designated Iris Yazminhe Guerra as the new Miss Grand El Salvador 2021 and she will represent El Salvador at Miss Grand International 2021. The beauty queen succeeded Miss Grand El Salvador 2020 Luciana Martínez for the title.
Hailing from Santa Ana, Iris is 24-years-old and stands 178 cm tall. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Business Administration from the Catholic University of El Salvador. She works as a professional model and business administrator and is very excited to represent El Salvador on the international stage.
The diva is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was Reina Internacional del cafe 2020/2021 and became the first representative from El Salvador to win the crown. She will now prepare herself for Miss Grand International 2021 which is scheduled to take place somewhere around November 2021.
Iris is a confident, determined, and focused woman who has always set up her goals and worked towards them. Throughout her journey, she has encouraged young girls to follow their dreams and passion too because she understands that nothing comes easy to anyone. She shared on her social media that last year was hard on a lot of people including her but she has learned a lot during the same time; “where we lost important people, we postponed dreams, a year where we met our existential crises, where there were times when we did not even know who we were and what we wanted in our lives, but how rich we learned, we became stronger, we value the most important ties and above all, we strengthened our faith, we always have to be thankful to God.”
The beauty queen with a stunning physique, charming personality, and the zeal to achieve the goals she has set for herself makes her one of the strongest contenders for the title. She has also raised her voice for body positivity and lent her support to the women who struggle with the ideal body stereotypes set by society. She is strong and focused on representing El Salvador at Miss Grand International 2021 and feels blessed to be appointed as the new queen.
