Miss Grand Indonesia 2019, the second edition of the national pageant, was held on 29th August 2019 at Balai Sarbini. At the conclusion of the national event, Sarlin Jones was crowned the new queen. She succeeds Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 Nadia Purwoko and was crowned by Miss Grand International 2018 Clara Sosa. The reigning queen was the special guest at the national event.

Sarlin bested thirty three other divas to win the national title. Sarlin will now compete in Miss Grand International 2019 in Venezuela. The gorgeous beauty was a crowd favourite from the beginning. She impressed everyone with her beauty and grace. Sarlin will now have to work hard to transform herself to perform at the international stage.

The newly crowned queen’s court included –

1st Runner-Up - Cindy Yuliani representing Bali

2nd Runner-Up - Gabriella Hutahaean representing Sumatra Utara

From the thirty four contestants who began their journey, only ten moved forward in the competition - Sarlin Jones, Cindy Yuliani, Gabriella Hutahaean, Jessica O. Yoshawirja, Mitha Lalujan, Erinna Aileen Chrestella, Sheryltha Pratyscha, Ilma Fitriani, Puti Pama and Claudia Wirahadi.

As the competition moved along, only five remained who were Sarlin Jones representing NTT, Cindy Yuliani representing Bali, Gabriella Hutahaean representing Sumatra Utara, Jessica O. Yoshawirja representing Jawa Barat and Mitha Lalujan representing Sulawesi Utara.
