Nadia Purwoko, Miss Grand Bengkulu 2018, was crowned Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 at the finale of the pageant held tonight at the Jakarta Convention Center and broadcasted live on SCTV. Nadia Purwoko succeeds Miss Grand Indonesia 2017 Dea Goesti Rizkita and will now represent Indonesia at the Miss Grand International 2018 pageant in Myanmar on October 25.
Nadia is not new to the pageant world she has won multiple titles before bagging the Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 title. She won the Gading Model Search 2008, Harapan II Abang None DKI Jakarta 2010, and Abang None South Jakarta 2010.
Although Nadia has a successful career in modeling, she volunteered as a teacher for underprivileged kids at the Damar Learning House in 2015, and also interned at Reed Exhibition Sydney, an Australian Exhibition Company.
Vivi Wijaya Miss Grand Sumatera Utara 2018, and Stephanie Cecillia Munthe Miss Grand Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 2018 were adjudged the first and second runners-up respectively. The other two contestants that made it to the top 5 of the pageant were Sabrina Malik Miss Grand Sulawesi Utara 2018, and Nada Ferlysia Hadde Miss Grand Sumatera Barat 2018.
During the finale, special awards were also given to contestants, in the categories Best In Traditional Costume, Best In Evening Gown, and Miss Favorite. Ayu SadaDevi Pradnyadari Miss Grand Bali 2018 won Best in Traditional Costume, Vivi Wijaya Miss Grand Sumatera Utara 2018 won the Best In Evening Gown award, while Sevin Dwi Putri Miss Grand Lampung 2018 won Miss Favorite.

Rizky Febian, Judika, and Firly Firlana Sahibab of the popular group S4 also performed live at the finale.
The event also saw four Miss Grand International queens in attendance. Miss Grand International 2014 Lees Garcia, Miss Grand International 2015 Claire Elizabeth Parker, Miss Grand International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi, and Miss Grand International 2017 María José Lora landed in Jakarta a day prior to the grand coronation.
